OSB3 (Oriented Strand Board) external grade Stirling board is wood made from fibers and adhesives compressed in opposing orientation to create an excellent load-bearing and aesthetically pleasing wood-patterned finish board. These boards are made to withstand the harshest (humid) conditions. The final product has equivalent flexibility and strength to softwood plywood, making it performatively similar. OSB3, which comes in three thicknesses 9mm, 11mm or 18mm and is designed to perform very well in floor, walls, and roof applications & many more building developments such as garden rooms & sheds too. How is OSB graded? OSB/1 – General purpose boards and boards for interior fitments (including furniture) for use in dry conditions. OSB/2 – Load-bearing boards for use in dry conditions. OSB/3 – Load-bearing boards for use in humid conditions. OSB/4 – Heavy-duty load-bearing boards for use in humid conditions. (Other sheet material supplies available)
