Neat match short grain moisture resistant ready primed MDF board with machined grooves (Medium Density Fiberboard), is an engineered wood composed of wood fibers that is heated to high pressure and used to create panels. Because of its strength, uniformity, and longevity, MDF is a very useful material. MDF is excellent for cabinet doors and wall panels because of its flat, smooth surface. Because it incorporates resins, this type of moisture-resistant MDF is better suited for usage in high-humidity spaces including kitchens, laundry rooms, and bathrooms. As the name implies, this MDF will swell, although not as much as standard MDF (which is usually brown), hence it is NOT recommended for use in moist environments.
